Fall Reflections

Is the little mound on the left too distracting because there's no harmony with the rest of the picture?

I wasn't happy with this painting when I did it originally. I knew I wanted the dancers in the background to be less distinct than the one in the foreground but I didn't paint them that way. This time I applied some absorbent ground and watered down the colour. Now I'm much happier with the effect.
