This painting has been on my easel for probably at least two years.  I love the reference photo (taken by a friend) but I really struggled with giving it life.  I have been trying to energize it and as a result, this painting should be about 5 inches thick.  Every time I look at it I add another layer.  I am calling it finished to get it off my easel and 'play' with pastels again.  Spring Break well spent already! sold

Decorating the main floor half bath.  I decided on birds and then found an awesome little bird hanger that I replaced my towel rack with.  I might repaint the ladybug and add it as well.  I'm really happy with it all so far!
